First let me say, I recognize this would be a better photo, and if anyone would like to see if they could do this, I'd love to see it happen (yeah, right; like anyone is even reading this.)
Somehow, this popped into my head. I hope you can tell what's going on, but in case it's not clear enough, the guy in the middle is real and standing there, and the rest are graffiti charicatures painted on the wall. I thought it sounded like a fun idea, and so I tried my best to do it; the biggest problem is that it's kinda hard to tell when my characters are cartoony because I cant draw realisticly, or if they're supposed to be like that. That makes seeing the difference between graffiti and just my regular cartoon characters nearly indistinguishable at times, and means I'm pretty much mad to try and have the viewers try to. Nevertheless, I tried my best to make some marks that distinguish them as graffiti. They're all outlined in various (dripping) colors (very proud of the drip); the skin is all white (well, I didn't have any skin tone markers); on that note, I used only markers to color the "paint" and colored pencils to color everything else (Sharpie's new clicky permanent markers are magic). Just for fun, I used an online reference to make the characters in a row appear to each be part of a walk cycle, except now looking back I think I did it backwards. Actually, the wall itself is tilted a bit away from the viewpoint, and so it actually looks pretty good with them seeming 2D (or at least, more 2D than the person, who while he technically is 2D is supposed to seem 3D).

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
